How to Reorder, Rotate and Remove PDF Pages

Organise a PDF safely by changing page order, correcting orientation, removing pages and extracting a smaller document.

Plan the finished document first

Page management is easiest when you know what the recipient should see. Note the desired order, identify pages that need rotation, and decide whether unwanted pages should be deleted or preserved in a separate file.

Reorder and rotate carefully

Drag pages into their new positions, then scan the thumbnails from beginning to end. Rotating a page changes its viewing orientation but should not alter its content. Mixed portrait and landscape documents are normal; rotate only pages that are genuinely sideways.

Deleting versus extracting

Delete removes selected pages from the new output. Extracting creates a separate PDF containing only selected pages. Extraction is often safer when you want to send a short section while retaining the complete original.

Final checks before download

Confirm the page count, numbering printed on the document, section order and orientation. Look for blank pages that may have been intentional for double-sided printing. Save the organised version under a new filename and keep the source until the job is complete.
